COVID-19: Slow the Spread and Save Lives
In the developing world, food security is a concern made even more serious by a crisis such as we are experiencing. Poor families are unable to purchase food for more than a day or two at a time. In the communities we serve in rural Guatemala, food supplies are waning, price gouging is occurring, and public transportation has been limited—all making it especially difficult for our struggling families. We have thus begun an Emergency Food Security Operation (EFSO). Following we have provided links to our most recent Emergency Operations Update and a link to Safety Protocols we developed based on World Health Organization protocols and augmented with important information from a virologist specializing in coronavirus. Our Stay Informed link will take you to a page with links to important COVID-19 information you can trust. If you can help, we would appreciate it and you can use our existing Donate button. Thank you for strictly following social distancing and other guidelines. Together, we can slow the spread and save lives.
In loving service,
