Catarina is originally from Toj Coman and a first-year high school student specializing in Finance and Administration. She attends school 5 mornings a week with homework given to her for the afternoons. Catarina’s favorite courses are Communication and Language, and Math. She chose Finance as her specialty because she is drawn to becoming a professional administrator and she is very interested in time management and how to run a business, manage budgets and develop a product. After high school she wants to attend college.
Catarina is the youngest of three children and lives with her mother and father who is a bricklayer. In her free time, she likes to help her mother with housework, read, listen to music, and review her school lessons. She also loves to work alongside her father growing their own vegetables. Catarina has been a participant at the Xela Aid computer program for a year and believes that a scholarship would help her to achieve her dream of a college education.
