Julio is ten years old and in the 3rd grade of Elementary School. He is the youngest of 4 children. At the beginning of the covid pandemic his family were highly impacted because there was no work. Now, Julio works in the vegetable fields and gives whatever he earns to his mother for food to feed the family. Julio dreams of being an attorney because so many local people cannot afford the legal services that they need. Julio needs a scholarship to be able to continue at school. When in person classes resume after the pandemic, and with a scholarship, he will be able to attend school instead of going to work. He is attending the Xela Aid Study Center twice a week.
