Micaela G.

LEAP # 305 Micaela is a 16 year old bilingual student (speaks Mam and Spanish) in her first year of high school specializing in secretarial studies at the America Moderna School in San Martin Sacatepequez. This year, she needs a new sponsor for her studies and is one of our priority students to assist.

Micaela feels that she is achieving her goals, although she said that starting high school in 2023 and getting good grades in a completely new environment was a challenge. Micaela gravitates towards those who show humility and respect for others and does not like to see those who show disrespect or get angry easily. She loves Guatemala, especially the Chicabal Lagoon because of its beauty set in a wonderful landscape.

Having been in the LEAP program for about 7 years, Micaela describes herself as a very quiet girl who is focused on getting good grades this year and being happy.
