Pedro L.

Pedro is 30 years old and attending his second year of college at the Mariano Galvez University studying marketing. He attends his classes on Saturdays. He chose his career because he is already involved with media communications and dreams of owning his own marketing agency in the future. Pedro is single, the 3rd of 4 children and lives with his parents. His father is a farmer who sells his produce locally to support his family.

To earn income while he is studying, Pedro currently works as a teacher in a local academy for computing, and leadership and entrepreneurship skills for young people. He relaxes in his limited spare time by playing soccer with his friends because fitness and health are high priorities for him. Pedro enjoys trips with his family and playing the acoustic guitar. A scholarship would help him to meet the challenge of working and studying at the same time and move him closer to his dream of owning a business himself.
